Paul Downton
CTO
Paul Downton joined Ampito in 2010 and is the Group’s Chief Technology Officer with over 30 years’ experience in Information Technology, being involved in a broad range of projects, solutions, services, and challenges over that time.
Previously holding customers facing, and senior management roles, at end-users (Public and Private Sector), manufacturers, resellers, and managed services providers.
Paul remains hands on with technology specialising in Cyber Security, Automation, Virtualisation, Cloud Services, as well as traditional Networking Architectures with and an eye for detail coupled with a passion, that is shared across Ampito for customer excellence.
He is a long-term member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
